Description
The systems analyst works towards examining the methods and processes required for ICT system, or building the new system and components so that it meets the requirements of the specifications for the user. Apart from that, they are also required to suggest changes for the existing system to upgrade them.

Unit Group: 2611 ICT Business and Systems Analysts Description
The systems analyst in Australia is required to work with users to bring about changes in the system and develop the system documentation and plans. They also work towards examining and reviewing the existing system and then bringing updates to it to meet the requirements of users as per their business needs.
Note: The applicants of Non-ICT Business Analysts do not belong in this group.
Tasks
- Working with the users to create and bring changes as per the updated business requirements.
- Formulating the user and training document and carrying a formal training class based on the document.
- Creating a clear system based on data and process modeling which will further help in designing and developing system software.
- Taking up the responsibility for creating effective solutions and system planning to improve the integrity and quality of the system.
- Analyzing and examining the procedure and processes for the work practices.
- Creating a functional environment for the developers.
- Offering guidance and training for the projects and develop plans based on an effective rate.
Skill level
The candidates applying for this job should have the following skills
Bachelor degree or higher education
Five years of experience in the relevant vendor certification program
Apart from that, the candidate may also have the relevant experience with ANZSCO Skill Level 1 or job training.
